Deadpool & Wolverine: Release Date, Story, Trailer & Everything We Know
Marvel Studios is making Deadpool 3 as part of the MCU. Here’s everything we know about the R-rated sequel starring Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson.
Who Are Marvel’s Headpool, Kidpool & Babypool?
One of the more obscure versions of Deadpool, Headpool was created in February 2006 and first debuted inMarvel Zombies#3. This Deadpool variant originates from Earth-2149, which is the world where the Marvel Universe gets infected by a zombie plague. Even if he only has a cameo inDeadpool & Wolverine, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Headpool make his way into theMarvel Zombiesanimated seriesthat is coming from Marvel Studios.
Kidpool comes from Earth-10330 and made his Marvel Comics debut less than two decades ago when he showed up inPrelude to Deadpool Corps#2 in March 2010. In this universe, Wade was actually a student at Xavier Orphanage for Troubled Boys, the variant version of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. Interestingly enough, while an actor hasn’t been revealed for Kidpool inDeadpool & Wolverine, many fans have wanted to see Walker Scobell, who played the young version of Reynolds' character inThe Adam Project, portray him in the MCU.

In the case of Babypool, while there isn’t a character by that name in the comics, it wouldn’t be shocking if it’s a younger version of Kidpool. With these three confirmed, and the heavily theorized arrival ofLady Deadpool, it is going to be fascinating to see howDeadpool & Wolverinetackles the idea of alternative takes on Wade. Thankfully, the world will not have to wait for much longer to seeDeadpool & Wolverinein theaters since it arrives next month.
