Best Stadium build for every hero in Overwatch 2
Overwatch 2‘s new Stadium mode gives you the freedom to build out each hero with their own abilities and skills, but you’ll need to know the best setups to get the most out of them.
Season 16is a huge update forOW2, thanks in no small part toStadium. This permanent third mode is a new alternative to regular Quick Play and Competitive, coming with its ownranked systemand pool of maps.

It doubles down on the power fantasy of each hero, introducing many powerful abilities for players to pick from between rounds, with the aim of creating a deadly combination. So, here are the best builds for each character in OW2 Stadium.
Best Stadium Powers for all characters
As a general rule, heroes thrive in Stadium when you focus on a specific playstyle and commit to it. While there is value in remaining a jack of all trades, it’s usually best to hone in on one or two abilities and make them as OP as possible, rather than spreading the upgrades around.
Then, you can use your Cash to fill in any weak spots, whether it be weapon damage or cooldown, or complement them further by buffing their effectiveness.

D.Va is already a great damage-dealer in Overwatch 2, but with this Stadium build, she can dominate the battlefield. The combination ofLegendary LoadoutandOverstockedmakes her Micro Missiles even more devastating and allows you to use them more often to clear the enemy team.
Then,Ignition Burstcreates a trail of lava every time you use Boosters, letting you force the opponents into a specific area and contain them. Just verify to spend your Cash upgrading these abilities, and you’re left with a D.Va that is tankier than ever.

Junker Queen
Jagged Blade is a strong ability at the best of times, but by doubling down on it, Junker Queen goes to a new level.Blade Paradetransforms it into a charged attack that increases its damage by 35%, whileTwist the Knifelets you extend how long its wounding effect lasts with headshots.
Mericless Magnetismremoves the one potential drawback of Jagged Blade — your aim. With this Power, it automatically locks onto the nearest enemy whenever you use Commanding Shout, whileCut ‘Em, Graciereduces its cooldown when it hits enemies on the way back.

If you’re an experienced Junker Queen player who’s used to the rhythm of throwing and recalling the blade, you’ll be able to lay waste to rival teams with this combination.
For Orisa, the best Stadium build is all about letting her use her most powerful abilities more often. With this in mind, we recommendSpynstem Update, which deflects projectiles using Javelin Spin and converts any damage into Ultimate charge, andAdvanced Throwbotics, to deploy an Energy Javelin whenever you do so.
Then,Lassoedpulls any impaled enemies towards you so you can follow up with your primary fire. Finally,Restorifyis a valuable ability that offers heals for every second that Fortify is active, ensuring you stay in the action for longer.
To get the most out of Rein, you’ll want to make him into an invaluable team asset rather than a lone wolf. you’re able to do this by focusing on his Barrier Field, withWilhelmwagenconverting some of the damage blocked by the shield into health andBarrier Reconstructionrepairing whenever damage is dealt.
Then, to spread some of the joy to your allies,Amplification Barrierincreases the damage of any friendly projectiles fired through the shield, andTo Me, My Friendsheals nearby allies when active. All of this combines to make the fan-favorite Tank the perfect focal point that keeps his squad alive.
There’s nothing more intimidating in OW2 than a hero that’s nearly impossible to kill, and that’s exactly what Zarya becomes with this build.Pre-Workoutgrants weapon and ability lifesteal, whileContainment Shieldoffers health depending on how much energy is stored.
Speaking of energy,No Limitsincreases the maximum she can store, allowing her to deal even more damage with theParticle Cannon. Barrier Benefits also improves the survivability of Zarya and her team by giving them bonus overhealth whenever a barrier expires.
One of the most beautiful things about Stadium is that many heroes have multiple Powers that work in tandem, and Ashe is a prime example.Incendiary Roundsoffer bonus damage every time you land a scoped shot, whileMy Business, My Rulesreduces the cooldown of your abilities for a hit on a burning target.
The DPS doesn’t have the best survivability, so we’re breaking our rule of committing to a single playstyle withReload Therapyto earn back some health when reloading. Finally,Partners in Crimeis very strong, as it essentially allows both Ashe and B.O.B to keep each other alive by simply dealing damage.
Cassidy is already one of the best overall damage dealers in OW2, and with this setup, he’s a force to be reckoned with.Dead Man Walkingprovides one additional ammo capacity for every kill in that round, which synergizes perfectly withFull House, which buffs his damage for every ammo slot remaining.
Hot Potatotakes this one step further by providing extra ammo whenever an enemy is blinded by a Flashbang. Lastly,Sunrisemakes his lethal Ultimate even more powerful by slowing those in sight for a brief time.
Without any buffs at all, Genji is a fast-moving DPS who’s tough to hit, but his primary fire lacks a little punch. That’s not a problem with our build, as it focuses on buffing Shuriken attack to make the swordsman much more menacing.
Cybernetic Speeddrastically increases the attack speed as long as you’re accurate, whileSacred Shurikenadds two extra projectiles with no ammo cost.Wyrm’s Mawoffers further boosts, as hitting an enemy with a Shuriken opens them up to extra damage from Swift Strike, whileForged Under Firebrings some much-needed healing every time you use Deflect.
Of all the heroes in OW2, no one can dominate the entire battlefield quite like Mei, and Stadium gives you the chance to take that idea to new heights by honing in on her best abilities.Icebergmakes Ice Walls even tougher to combat by spawning a mini blizzard that slows the enemy team, andFrost Armorgives protective armor as long as you’re on the front foot and dealing damage.
The real keys to this build, though, are the combination ofSnowball Fightto create Ice Walls when you jump, andCryclonethat brings in another Blizzard when you heal with Cryo-Freeze. Once you master it, you’ll constantly be making walls and snowstorms to make it nearly impossible for enemies to move around freely.
If there’s one thing that Reaper doesn’t need, it’s a damage buff, but by putting all of your Powers into his other abilities, you’ll be gliding around the map and taking out enemies before they can react. The key to this build isShrouded Shrapnel, which buffs your primary fire after using Wraith Form.
Then,Backstabberoffers a huge 50% damage increase to players hit from behind after using an ability, encouraging you to sneak up on targets. This pairs nicely withGhosted, which slows them down if you phase through them with Wraith Form, andSpirited to Slay, which resets the cooldown on every ability after a kill.
Soldier 76
If you’ve ever come against Tactical Visor, you’ll know exactly how devastating it can be. So, why not double down?Super Visorautomatically triggers the Ultimate briefly after every use of Helix Rockets, andPeripheral Pulselets you automatically lock on to two players at once during it.
This is useful on its own, butChaingun‘s effect of granting extra stacking damage during sustained fire is pretty broken. Finally, On Me allows yourBiotic Fieldto move with you, healing you on the fly while you push enemies.
Ana is a fantastic healer, but if you’ve ever wanted to transform her into the lethal sniper she was born to be, now is your chance.Pinpoint Perscriptionallows her to deal critical hits with headshots, just like the Headhunter Perk, which is made even better withTactical Rifle, letting her automatically lock onto enemies while scoped.
But her transformation into a full-blown DPS isn’t complete untilMy Turn, which gives her the same damage buffs when the Nano Boost Ultimate is used. To make life easier when picking off the backline, being able to put multiple targets to sleep withSleep Regimenis also vital.
Juno’s Powers in Stadium aren’t quite as game-changing as the other heroes, but you can still put together a pretty strong build if you concentrate on Pulsar Torpedoes.Pulsar Plusgives the ability an additional charge, withMedicinal Missilesmaking them much more effective at healing andCosmic Coolantreducing the cooldown.
Then,Medi Masteradjusts her primary attack to let it do critical hits on both enemies and allies. The result is a version of Juno with better healing capabilities than have even been possible in regular OW, so while the other members of the team focus on kills, she can keep them alive.
Pound-for-pound, there are few better heroes than Kiriko and the same is true in this new mode, as you can make a reliable healer and a surprisingly great damage dealer. When it comes to healing, Leaf on the Wind causes eachHealing Ofudato bounce onto two more allies, andSupported Shootinggrants 20% attack speed to anyone it touches, giving Kirko more ways of helping multiple players at once.
On the damage side of things,Foxy Fireworksmakes the first three Kunais thrown explosive after reloading, making them perfect for quickly picking off backline heroes. Last up isSpirit Veil, to make her invincible for four seconds after triggering her Ultimate, which can come in clutch in heated moments.
Traditionally, Lucio players have to make a choice on whether they want to be a dedicated healer, or a griefing rusher that terrizes enemies, but now you may be both. RunningSonic Boom, Crowd Pleaser, andMixtapeall at once lets you produce massive heals, all by attacking with Speed Boost active and quickly changing your song.
Fast Forwardcranks things up a notch by making Speed Boost come with a damage increase, which in turn makes the other Powers mentioned dish out additional healing. Then, it’s best to use some Cash to buff your attack damage and make Lucio an absolute menace to deal with.
There’s a temptation to make Mercy into a DPS with her Stadium Powers, which is undoubtedly fun, but you’d be missing out on comfortably the best healing hero in the entire game. The trio ofGlass Extra Full,Distortion, andThreads of Fateallows the iconic Support to give her teammates overhealth and even liftsteal, with multiple targets benefitting at once.
Equivalent Exchangeis also a big shift, swapping Revive’s cooldown for three charges that can be used at any time but rest at the start of a round. This might sound downside, but with Stadium’s shorter rounds, this gives you the opportunity to bring back multiple allies at once to turn the tide of a fight.
Moira doesn’t just have one of the best Stadium builds, it’s also one of the most enjoyable to use, as she can flood the map with Biotic Orbs. This is done primarily throughMultiball, which launches two extra orbs with every use, andCross-Orbal, which adds one more into the mix, meaning you actually fire four at once.
You can also take it a step further withPhantasmandOptimal Overflow, which launch another orb when you Fade or spend 50% Biotic Energy. Once each one is equipped and you’ve upgraded them with Cash, you’ll have a constant stream of both types of Orbs all over the battlefield, healing allies and damaging enemies without you even needing to be close by.
