The latest installment in Ubisoft’s The Crew franchise,The Crew Motorfest, is set to be the most expansivegameyet with a huge amount of content for players to enjoy. There’s a vast open world to race across, over 600 unique vehicles to drive includingcars, planes, and boats, and an array of customization options.

Before you get into the driver’s seat, however, you may be wondering if you can play The Crew Motorfest offline. The franchise has always required a constant internet connection in the past but could this entry break the formula?

Unfortunately, no you cannot play The Crew Motorfest offline.
Like previous games in the franchise, aconstant online connection will be required to enjoy The Crew Motorfest. During the game’s initial closed beta period, players needed to remain online to enjoy the game, and from the “Online play required.” descriptions of the digital releases on thePlayStation store, it appears this will also be the case when the full title launches onSeptember 14, 2023.
Ubisoft has included online-only features in previous titles including the other The Crew games, andThe Division 2, so it’s unsurprising that it’s also present in The Crew Motorfest.
