Drug dealer gets caught dealing in court to another defendant

A convicted drug dealer was caught selling cannabis and prescription pills to another defendant during his own sentencing hearing.

Tony Roe, 30, was in Dublin’s Criminal Courts of Justice on June 02, 2025, when he passed drugs to a man also in custody in the same courtroom.

Drug dealer gets no extra time despite selling inside courtroom

Roe has 124 prior convictions, including 29 for drug dealing. That day, he was being sentenced to three years for attempted robbery.

Despite being caught dealing inside the courtroom, Judge Treasa Kelly gave him just a three-month sentence for the incident. It will run alongside his current sentence, so he won’t serve any extra time.

The judge noted Roe is already behind bars until October 2025. His lawyer said he pleaded guilty early.

Roe’s life of convictions mimics that of viral Kentucky convict James Farthing whowon a $167.3 million Powerball jackpotbefore being arrested again shortly thereafter.

Absurd court behavior has been a bit of a trend so far in 2025. Earlier this year, a man attempted to use Artificial Intelligence in the New York State Supreme Courtthrough an AI avatar, but that quickly went awry when a judge yelled across the courtroom to pull the plug.

In another instance, a man’s decision towear a “World’s Best Farter” shirtto court resulted in the judge lashing out at his choice of attire.
