As the countdown for theElden RingDLC—Shadow of the Erdtree—comes to a close, players will be on the lookout for valuable resources like Starlight Shards. These shards exist only in limited numbers, and as one of the best ways to regain FP, they are super valuable. As you prep for the DLC, collecting items you know you’ll need for the battles ahead, make sure to grab as many Starlight Shards as you can hold (and store).

Because there is no FP-regenerating talisman, Starlight Shards areElden Ring’s way ofproviding you with some more FPin the heat of battle. They’re super useful but also pretty rare, making knowing their locations pretty important to have a good setup for the more difficult fights.Starlight Shards are most often found in front of Stone Astrolabes, which are small, bowl-shaped structures near the edge of cliffs.
