GTA Online will take all your money if you claim new “free” car

GTA Online players have been trying to claim a free car following the big update to the PC side of things, however, it is costing them millions. In some cases, fans are losing all of their money.

Even though the Grand Theft Auto community wants updates onGTA 6,Rockstar Games have just cracked on withGTA Onlineupdates instead.

After a long wait, PC players were finally offered the chance to play the Expanded and Enhanced version of GTA Online on March 4, asRockstar rolled out the Oscar Guzman Flies Again update. The E&E version brings better graphics, new businesses, and better performance.

There have, though, been a few issues. Some players have reported being able to log into the game after purchasing the upgrade, as well as not getting some of the content they’re owed.

GTA Online’s free Karin S95 isn’t exactly free

If you have got the Expanded and Enhanced version of GTA Online now, you are supposed to be able to claim the Karin S95 for free from Southern San Andreas Super Autos.

The sports car is worth $2 million and even though it should be free, plenty of players have reported that they’ve had to fork over the full price tag to get it.

“WARNING: The “FREE” Karin S95 will still charge you almost 2 million if you redeem,” one posted. “If you don’t have enough money to buy it, it will just take all your money and you won’t get the car,” another said.

Rockstar respond to free Karin S95 issue

Some players have reported the issue to Rockstar Support, noting that they’ve been promised a resolution after a short waiting period.

“We are actively collecting information from reports like yours to better understand this issue,” the response says. “You should expect a response within two days, if not sooner.”

Others have already been refunded, getting the full $2 million. Some, though, haven’t been so lucky.

“Finally got a refund, BUT… they’ve only given me half of the amount. I don’t know why they can’t verify any charges, because my S95 is literally sitting in my garage,” one pointed out.

So, if you want to buy it, just because, you might go bankrupt.
