One Piecehas smashed another Guinness World Record, with hundreds of fans using Luffy’s iconic straw hat to do so.
On August 23, 2025, One Piece fans broke a Guinness World Record at Osaka Comic Con. This year, One Piece Netflix stars Mackenyu Maeda (Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), and Jacob Gibson (Usopp) attended the event. Fans got to interact with the trio and discuss the Netflix adaptation, which will return when Season 2 releases.

However, the occasion was made even more special as fans had the chance to break a Guinness World Record for the most people wearing straw hats in the same place.

On top of this, another more recent record was set by One Piece itself back in 2024, after the show broke a milestone for themost DVDs ever releasedby a serial anime TV program, reaching 300 DVDs.
