Snappables are AR games and experiences played inside the Snapchat camera where your face becomes the controller. A spectacular twisting structure bedecked with trees and plants is on course to become Australia’s tallest building. The so-called “Green Spine” was recently announced as the winner of an international design competition organized by property developer Beulah International, which hopes to build the 356-meter-tall structure in the center of Melbourne. A French company calledCarmathas created an artificial heart that could potentially help save the lives of people with end-stage biventricular heart failure. And, no, this isn’t some piece of future tech that won’t be available for another decade or so; it has already been used on actual patients — including one who had the implanted heart two years ago. And it’s coming to the United States. “The idea behind this heart, which was born nearly 30 years ago, was to create a device which would replace heart transplants, a device that works physiologically like a human heart, one that’s pulsating, self-regulated, and compatible with blood,” Carmat CEO Stéphane Piatrecently told Reuters....

NuPhy designed its mechanical keyboard to physically reside above the built-in keyboard of a MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro. It “locks” into place using notches on the bottom that fit between and around the laptop’s keys. It does not extend over the Function keys or Touch Bar.
