Mega Audino weaknesses in Pokemon Go
As a dualNormal/Fairy-type Pokemon, Mega Audino isonly weak against Poison and Steel-type moves. This leaves trainers with a small pool to build the perfect team, but don’t worry, as the creatures available are exceptional fighters.
On the other hand, during the fight, avoid using any Bug, Dark, Dragon, or Ghost-type attacks or Pokemon, as Mega Audino is resistant to them, and they won’t do significant damage.

TheMega Audino Raid Daywill take place onSaturday, June 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM local time, giving players exactly three hours to gather fellow trainers and challenge this mighty creature.
However, they must remember thatthey cannot catch Mega Audino in its Mega Evolved form. Instead, once they defeat it, they’ll be given the chance to catch a regular Audino using the Premiere Balls given – the amount of balls they get will be tied to their performance during the battle.
Then, they must stock up on the required amount of Mega Energy totemporarily Mega Evolve their strongest standard Audino.
How to evolve Audino into Mega Audino
After a trainer defeats and catches a Mega Evolved Pokemon, it returns to its regular form, meaning that every time a player wants to trigger a Mega Evolution,they must use Mega Energy.
The first time an Audino is Mega Evolved into Mega Audino,it will require 200 Mega Energy.Once the effect is over, the amount required to do that again will drop to 40, then 20, and finally 10.

If you’re lackingMega Energy, you can obtain it by defeating Mega Audino in Mega Raids multiple times. Alternative methods include completing Special Research tasks and taking Audino for a walk after setting it as your Buddy.
It’s worth noting that for Audino to collect Mega Energy while going for a walk, it must have been previously Mega Evolved at least once.

Can Mega Audino be Shiny?
Yes, Mega Audino can be Shiny in Pokemon Go, as Mega Evolutions always debut in the game along with their Shiny variations.
Unfortunately for Shiny hunters, Shiny Mega Audino is disappointing and incredibly hard to spot, as the differences between one and another are almost imperceptible. The usual bright pink eyes in Mega Audino change to a creamy tone in its Shiny version, while the rose-pink shades on its body and ears turn lilac.
Remember that the odds of finding a Shiny Mega Evolved form are quite low, and there’s no way to ensure an encounter other than challenging as many Mega Audino as you can during its time in Raids.
Nonetheless, if you cannot find one, you can always Mega Evolve a regular Shiny Audino to get what you’re after.
