There’s one way you could get tickets for the Thunderbolts early screenings

If you’re lucky, there’s a chance you can still snag a ticket for tonight’s early screenings ofMarvel’s Thunderbolts.

It’s been a weird couple of years for theMCU’sbox office. In 2023, the studio had two of its least successful movies ever (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and The Marvels), but it pulled off another billion-dollar banger with Deadpool & Wolverine in 2024.

Captain America: Brave New World underperformed earlier this year, so a lot is riding on Thunderbolts, the first of Marvel’s two-hander as we enter summer blockbuster season, withFantastic Fourcoming out in July.

Before it hits theaters next week, you have one chance to see it before everyone else – but you may already be out of luck.

Thunderbolts early screenings sell out – but there could be another way

If you go toFandango’s official RSVP pagefor the early Thunderbolts screening on April 22 (tonight), you’ll see that every screening is sold out.

However, there are two things you should do: one, keep refreshing the page, as it’s possible (albeit it’s a very slim chance) people will cancel their tickets and more could become available; two, try your luck and go to one of the locations that’s showing the early screening to see if you can get your hands on a ticket in person.

As the website says, “the showing is a free, first-come, first-served event and admission is not guaranteed.”

Who knows, maybe you’ll show up and someone will be selling their ticket or giving it away?

A warning if you have Thunderbolts tickets

Even if you have tickets for the early Thunderbolts screening, it’s possible you won’t get in. Remember, “admission is not guaranteed.”

In other words, expect a massive queue if you don’t show up at the theater in plenty of time – you should be there a couple of hours before the film starts, at least.

Why Marvel is skipping Comic-Con this year

Every MCU movie ranked from worst to best, including Fantastic Four

“I went to the Civil War early screenings back in 2016, and we got there about two hours early and had decent seats. I’d bring some water and snacks and a Kindle or something and maybe aim for three hours (unless it’s assigned seats) and enjoy it,” one Redditorwrote.

“Definitely go early. They RSVP over the limit by a good amount so entry is not guaranteed,” another warned.

“My guess is it won’t be 100% fans of the movies, but rather about half of the audience is press/reviewers and the remaining seats will be for fans who signed up,” a third user wrote.

“That means a lot of people will be turned away, as they want it to be a full audience. Additionally, you want to be there early as they usually give the reviewers the good seats in the audience and then fans the front/side seats.”
