Spider-Man 2099 and Venom side-by-side.

“Five Questions” will be an extension of Al Ewing’s ongoing Venom run, while “Kiss the Ring” will actually pull the version ofVenom from Insomniac Games’Marvel’s Spider-Man 2into another reality to fight Knull, the original King in Black, and “Host” will be a murder-mystery with the Avengers themselves on the chopping block. Did Marvel Just Nerf Symbiotes? - Spider-Man 2099 Introduces the Perfect Anti-Venom Weapon

Spider-Man 2099 just introduced the perfect anti-Venom weapon, one which turns any ‘Venomized’ upgrade in Marvel Comics canon into a major downgrade.

Venom: The End’s God-Tier Symbiote Returns in Venomverse Reborn

While little information is available about Venomverse Reborn #2, this cover art is enough to get fans excited about what’s in store for the future of the anthology series.

The version of Venom fromVenom: The Endis essentially a god, meaning the Venomverse Reborn storyline he’s going to appear in will undoubtedly be cosmic in nature.Venom: The Endtells the story of Venom as he faces the end of the organic universe with the rise of a technological hivemind called the Godminds, which eventually becomes powerful enough to assimilate the likes of Galactus and even Eternity. Therefore, Venom had to make themself just as powerful.

By utilizing the stored codices of everyone they’ve ever bonded with (which, thanks to time-travel capabilities, is literally everyone in the universe), Venom has the ability to call upon the infinite superhuman abilities of his many hosts, enhanced by the cosmic energies they’ve collected over the millennia. For instance, Venom used a heightened version of Multiple Man’s powers to create millions of himself, which he inhabited with the stored consciousness of every codex, housing them on planets terraformed with Storm’s weather-controlling power. Plus, Venom himself is an ultimate weapon, with his planet-destroying antimatter cannons his most extreme offensive attack.

How Will Venom: The End’s Symbiote Hero Be Utilized in Venomverse Reborn?

While it’s exciting to think that fans will be seeing such a cosmically powerful version of Venom in a new comic very soon, it also leads to the inevitable question: how will they be utilized?

Venom: The Enddidn’t just introduce Venom’s ultimate form, it also told an amazing story that came to a definitive end. This may lead to some concerns from fans, as bringing back a character whose story ended as beautifully as this one risks diminishing that original story. However, fans shouldn’t worry, and the reason why is spelled out in the originalVenom: The Enditself: its sheer scope.Venom: The Endtakes place over the course of trillions of years, allowing ample opportunity to tell a nearly limitless amount of stories within that period of time.

So, how will Venom fromVenom: The Endbe utilized inVenomverse Reborn? Any way the comic creators want, as a rogue adventure embarked upon by this version of the character wouldn’t even be a blip on the radar of a storyline that takes place over the course of trillions of years. So long as Venom survives,Venomverse Reborncan stick them in any situation imaginable, and it wouldn’t impact the integrity ofVenom: The Endin the slightest. Therefore, there should be nothing but excitement about the news thatVenom’s ultimate form officially returns to Marvel Comics canon.
