What time is The Last of Us Season 2 Episode 5 out?
After last week’s ending,The Last of Us Season 2Episode 5 is expected to follow Ellie as she tracks down Abby’s crew – so, make sure you know exactly what time it drops.
The third episode gave us a breather after Joel’s death, but Episode 4 was a return to what you’d expect fromThe Last of Us: characters exploring a dangerous wasteland and fighting off infected.

In a sequence ripped straight from the game, Ellie and Dina escaped a horde of infected in an underground subway tunnel, leading to two big revelations: Dina learned that Ellie is immune, and Ellie found out that Dina is pregnant – and Jesse is the father. We were also introduced to Isaac, the fearsome leader of theWLF.
Remember, there are only seven episodes in Season 2, so we’re nearly at the penultimate chapter. Mild game spoilers to follow…

What will happen in Episode 5?
The Last of Us Season 2 Episode 5 is expected to follow Ellie as she journeys to Lakehill Hospital in Seattle, where she’ll inevitably face off against a member of Abby’s crew: Nora.
Admittedly, the series isn’t a one-to-one adaptation of Part 2, and it’s changed a few things; Ellie’s immunity reveal happens a bit differently in the game, Tommy seemingly stayed behind in Jackson while they traveled to Chicago, and we haven’t had many encounters with Seraphites.

However, time is running out, and considering Episode 6 is expected to focus on Joel and Ellie and the rift that developed between them before Season 2, Episode 5 needs to progress the plot.
It’s unclear exactly when Joel will appear again in The Last of Us Season 2 – but based on what Neil Druckmann has said, Episode 6 could be a sensible bet.
“[Episode 6] is really special because it really gets into the heart of what the show’s about with characters that we love so much… both fans of the show and fans of the games are going to be really moved [by it],” Neil Druckmann toldVariety.
Co-writer Halley Gross also said: “I think there is something incredibly special for [Episode 6]. I think six is a really beautiful story, and I’m really proud to have gotten to be a part of it.”
