Summary
Wolverineis one of the strongest superheroes on the planet, not because he wields cosmic power or boasts supernatural abilities, but because his mutation makes him virtually unkillable, and insanely deadly. With his healing factor, heightened senses, and adamantium-coated claws,Wolverine is fully equipped to tangle with just about anyoneand come out on top. However, while those abilities are impressive, none of them contributed to Wolverine’s most impossible feat, as that is solely attributed to a learned skill that is basically an extra superpower.
InWolverineVol. 3 #23 by Mark Miller and John Romita Jr.,Wolverine has been brainwashedby the Hand to do their bidding, which extends to the bidding of Hydra. Under the control of the Hand, Wolverine is forced to break into Stark International headquarters and destroy everything of importance, killing anyone who stands in his way. However, it’s after Wolverine does this that he pulls off his most impossible feat: breaking into Daredevil’s apartment.

The comic notes that Daredevil can hear a pin drop from a block away, and can hear one’s breath a mile away. This is something fans have known for some time, but the fact that the comic reminds readers of this means it wants to highlight exactly how impressive it is that Wolverine was able to break into Matt’s apartment without Daredevil sensing anything. Indeed, Matt only wakes up when he feels Wolverine’s fist against his cheek, but by then, it’s far too late.
Wolverine’s Most Obscure Power Just Became Absolutely Essential
One specific aspect of Wolverine’s mutation means he has an incredibly obscure power that is essential in Marvel Comics' worldwide Blood Hunt event.
Wolverine Has the Ability to Sneak Up on Daredevil, Which Itself is a Superpower
Wolverine sneaking up on Daredevil should be impossible. The Man Without Fear regularly patrols the entirety of Hell’s Kitchen without moving a muscle, relying on his heightened senses to give him a 360 degree picture of the entire neighborhood. This isn’t a power Matt can just turn on and off, either, as he’s admitted that the lingering scents of past loved ones that reside in his apartment oftentimes drive him crazy, even if those people hadn’t been there in years (including one of his dad’s old coats).
Given the established scope of Daredevil’s powers, it should have been impossible for Wolverine to do this - and yet, he pulled it off. Wolverine was trained as a world-class spec-ops soldier by Weapon X before being trained as a Samurai, so it could be argued that his experiences gave him the skills to sneak up on Daredevil. However, no amount of training can teach someone to be more silent than the dropping of a pin from a block away. That’s inherent, and can only be described as ‘superhuman’.

Wolverine’s Secret ‘Power’ Makes Him the Deadliest Killer on the Planet
Wolverine has always been deadly, his core spectrum of mutant powers made sure of that, but the ability to be so silent that even Daredevil can’t sense him coming solidifies his position as the deadliest killer in the world. Imagine, Wolverine stalking a victim who thinks they’re alone, and before they even know what’s happening, three razor sharp claws sink into their flesh before the claws just as quickly vanish along with the man wielding them. That’s the power Wolverine boasts in this issue, and barring any supernatural or otherworldly enhancements, no one on Earth can match it.
Thankfully, Wolverine has firmly been an antihero who’s far more ‘hero’ than ‘anti’, which means this ‘power’ will more than likely be used for good the next time fans see it in action. However, it certainly wasn’t used for good when he flexed it for the first time, asWolverinepulling off his most impossible feat nearly came at the cost of Daredevil’s life.

Wolverine
The human mutant Wolverine (a.k.a. Logan) was born James Howlett, blessed with a superhuman healing factor, senses, and physiology. Subjecting himself to experimentation to augment his skeleton and claws with adamantium, Logan is as deadly as he is reckless, impulsive, and short-tempered. Making him the X-Men’s wildest and deadliest member, and one of Marvel Comics' biggest stars. He’s played in Fox and Marvel’s movie franchises by Hugh Jackman.
