Although players can eventually pull 4-star weapons inWuthering Wavesusing the game’s ‘Convene’ system, they can also be found scattered throughout the world of Solaris-3. There are five types of weapons to dispatch Tacet Discord enemies with Sword, Broadblade, Gauntlet, Pistols, and Rectifier. Each weapon type has 4-star and 5-star classes, but the latter isusually acquired through Conveningor spending loads of time progressing in-game while the former can be accessed after completing certain quests, crafting weapon recipes, and other methods.

One of the easiest 4-star weapons to acquire in the game is Dauntless Evernight, a Broadblade that scales in defensive stats and helps its wielder pack a meaner punch with its intro skill.The prerequisite to the quest that eventually leads to this weapon’s access is reaching Union level 10. Then, Rover will see a ‘Wanted’ poster on a bulletin board in Jinzhou near the Synthesizer which unlocks the quest ‘We Promise, We Deliver.’
After following all the quest prompts, Rover eventually comes face to face with the Inferno Rider boss. After defeating it, skyscrapers embedded in the arena’s ground will hover in the sky which can all be traversed. It’s a high climb, but the very top skyscraper has a platform housing some items and the Dauntless Evernight broadblade in all its shiny, purple glory.
The 4-star Weapon Selector can also provide players with 4-star weapons for free without Convening. Simply complete the exploration quests Hidden Dangers in Peaceful Life and Shadows of the Past, which are available in that order after progressing the main story until Rover reaches the Tiger’s Maw Mine area. After Shadows of the Past is complete, a vendor named Shilang opens up the Tiger’s Maw Ore shop, and the Weapon Selector is an available item for purchase with Lampylumen ores which can be farmed in the Tiger’s Maw Mine.
Crafting 4-star Weapons
Another method of acquiring the coveted 4-star weapons is crafting them through Uncle Wei’s shop. This vendor can be found in Jinzhou near the city’s northeastern-most resonance beacon, and he can craft generic 4-star level weapons using materials Rover collects throughout the game. Each craft requires tons of shell credits in addition to weapon molds and scarletthorn or indigoite depending on the weapon class.
There area few ways to farm shell creditsto have enough for crafting all five weapon types, but acquiring the other ingredients will be a little trickier.Standard Weapon molds are dropped by specific bosses: Bell-Borne Geochelone in the Tolling Stream around the Gorges of Spirits resonance beacon, Dreamless in the Norfall Barrens area after completing Chapter 1, and Scar in Qichi Village after clearing Act 4 in the main quest-line.
Qichi Village and Dim Forest are great locations to farm scarletthorn, while indigoite is plentiful in the Central Plains. Gathering an abundance of these ingredients should allow Rover and friends to eventually get some of the best free weapons inWuthering Waves.
