Hilariously,@bradwhipplehas accurately identified Yord as the “Ken of Star Wars”.

@sw_holocronhas confirmed they’re a member of the “Yord Hord”, which certainly seems to be growing.

@tommy_stellahas clearly hopped on the Yord Fandar fan train…otherwise known as the 2019 Yord Fiesta.

The Acolyte has finally premiered on Disney+, featuring a massive collection of exciting Easter eggs and references in the first two episodes.

Yord Fandar Has Endeared Fans Similarly To Andor’s Syril Karn

He’s Trying So Hard To Be Worthy Of His Jedi Knight Status

Much likeAndor’sSyrl Karn who desperately tried to prove his worth to both CorpSec and the Imperial Security Bureau,The Acolyte’sYord Fandar is similarly relatable as a major “try-hard”, wanting to prove his worth as a Knight. No better scene proves this aspect of his personality than when Yord is featured carefully steaming his Jedi robes when Master Sol and hisPadawan Jecki Loncome aboard their Jedi shuttle. Promising to redeem himself, it’s clear that Yord is a by-the-book Jedi who takes great pride in his new status as a Jedi Knight.

Despite his rigid nature and desire to follow all the rules and tenets of the Jedi Order,Yord still has quite a bit of charm as well. It’s no wonder that he’s become such a standout character thus far inThe Acolyte. It will also be very exciting to see where Yord Fandar goes next as he and his fellow Jedi continue their mission against dark forces emerging from the shadows.
