On June 30, 2025, Colby shared the good news — after two years of chemotherapy, he is officially cancer-free, with only a 2 – 3% chance of the cancer returning.

“The doctors told me back in May 2023 after I finished chemotherapy that if my cancer would return, it would most likely happen within a couple of years,” he explained in a post on X. “Now that I’m at the two year mark since treatment, my chances of getting the same cancer again are now only 2-3% or less.”

He went on to thank his best pal Sam Golbach for learning to cold cap his head to save his hair through chemo and driving through Las Vegas to find dry ice. “You were an open ear to me whenever I needed and stuck by my side through it all. Love you man,” Colby wrote.

In the end, the YouTuber urged viewers to pay attention to their bodies and take care of their physical health, saying “the biggest thing I’ve learned throughout the whole process is that health is everything. I never thought I’d get cancer at 25 years old, but it happened and was a huge wake up call that I’m not invincible.”
